Our People

Go Country sceneGo Country Limited is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status.  It is regulated by a Board of Directors who act as Charity Trustees:

Go Country operates with a tight staffing team:

Jim is the founder of Go Country and it's project manager. Jim has been the driver behind all operations of the charity since its inception. He is responsible for all aspects of the operation of the charity. As well as a qualified counsellor, assessor/verifier and special training/education tutor, Jim is fully qualified in all aspects of instructing of the individual activities.


Liz DouglasLiz

 

 

 

Liz is the Charity Manager and is responsible for all administrative aspects of the charity. Liz graduated in 2008 with a degree in Business with Human Resource Management and is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Coming from a background of 24 years in nursing with experience of management in the care service, she brings administrative and Company Secretary skills to the charity.

Go Country have now employed a Trainee Instructor, part funded by the Future Jobs Fund.  Go Country proudly support young people into employment and are keen to continue offering young people a chance to develop themselves through employment.


In addition, Go Country draw on a pool of qualified instructors to deliver individual sessions and groups.
